|Title||William P Lawrence letter 1861|
William P Lawrence letter to brother Thomas D Lawrence
I thought I would take the time to write you a few lines to see when you were going to come down this fall. I suppose you wont come until you get the corn husked. I also want you to write to me on what day you are going to come so that I can meet you at Oxford you must come in the morning train or you will be after night in the afternoon train. Dont forget to come as the partridges are very thick if anybody asks you about the game down here tell them you don't know you need not be any ways uneasy about board or lodging as I have that fixed. I suppose if you would come down in three weeks it would suit me better, don't forget to write a week before you come so that I can get the letter before you start. We are all well at present and I have first received a letter from Mordecai that you are all pretty well at home so no more at present,
From your brother William P. Lawrence
