In 1912, Grover C. Bergdoll (on right) and his brother Erwin (on left) prepare for takeoff from the family's field on the northwest corner of West Chester Pike and Eagle Road in Haverford Township, Pa. Bergdoll used the field for his Wright Brothers Model B Flyer and build a hanger there for it. Appears in the HTHS book "Haverford Township (Images of America)" on p. 73 bottom.
