  3. Album - Powder Mill Park and Grange Field Construction (1946-1947)

    Loose leaf notebook documenting the creation of Powder Mill Park and the Grange playfield in Haverford Township, Delaware County, Pa. in 1946-1947. Contains 36 B&W 8" x 10" photos of the Township Commissioners, the Park Board, clearing land and developing the mentioned park and playground areas. Prepared by the Penfield Civic Association for presentation to the Haverford Township Park Board. HTHS has two copies.

  4. Album, Photograph - Eckfeldt Photographs of Cobb's Creek Valley

    Binder of photographs printed from photographer Dr. John W. Eckfeldt's negatives, mounted and identified by Andrew Morgan. His son mounted the photos on black construction paper and placed them in plastic sheets in an album. The pages were deteriorating, so in 1996 HTHS placed them in acid free album pages. Contained 65 photographs on 33 pages originally, now 61 photographs in acid free protectors (1996).

    Photograph album containing 175 photographs taken by Dr. John W. Eckfeldt showing upper Cobb's Creek in Haverford Township. These B&W photos were hand color-tinted and described by Dr. Eckfeldt. They have been subsequently remounted and placed in acid-free materials by HTHS. 88 pages with 175 pictures. Binder includes 5 additional photos of the Nitre Hall Mills drying house, 1874-1882.
