(Smith's saw mill in same photo.) Creek and mill race ran parallel to Darby Creek. Old Lawrence Road is in the background. In the 1990's the hill is the parking lot for Haverford Hospital & Medical Center.

Logs were saved and that section rebuilt on Karakung drive next to Nitre Hall, Cobb's Creek."
